Tillandsia capitata RED
Tillandsia Capitata Red L of XL
A beautiful airplant, really big with an amazing shape. The Tillandsia Capitata red is a specie you won't just find somewhere else. The plant has nice wide leaves, that have a green color.
The Tillandsia Capitata red will change color once they are in bloom. This looks amazing! First the airplant will grow purple flowers. After that the airplant will turn birght red, which is why it is called 'Capitata Red".
We advice you to put the Tillandsia Capitata red in a light spot and to spray water on a regular basis (1 or 2 times a week). Only spray the water at the top of the leaves.
The Tillandsia Capitata red is family of the bromelia. The plant originally came from Mexico, but this specific one was cultivated in Indonesia.
Do you notie the airplant drying out? The leaves turning yellow? Or the leaves turning inwards? Collect some rainwater and put the airplant in the water for a couple of hours. Make sure you shake the water out afterwards and turn it upside down to dry to make sure it doesn't start to rot. You will notice the airplant will open up again after that.
We have 2 sizes: large and extra large
Attention: every airplant is unique which means they can differ from the one in the photo. Little imperfections are 'normal'.
