Airplants use humidity to survive. But because most houses have a low humidityrate they also need a bit of water. Normaal tap water is usually to harsh. The leaf scallops might get clogged which causes the airplant to be unable to take up water. It's better to use rainwater than normal tap water.

Besides spraying with water you can also give your airplant some extra help with this airplant nutritionspray. This spray is EXTRA not a replacement. Spray the nutritionspray once every two weeks on the leaves of your Tillandsia to make sure they get al their nutrition.
