Tillandsia Caput Medusae
The caput medusae is a very special air plant. This tillandsia has tentacles as leaves, and these tentacles are covered in trichomes. Trichomes are tiny gray hairs, also called leaf scales. The Tillandsia absorbs moisture through these scales, and the trichomes also protect the plant from burning in direct sunlight. The leaves curl when dry, so you always know when your air plant needs water!
Mist your air plant 1-2x a week with rainwater or our plant food spray. Make sure it gets enough indirect sunlight and fresh air. Air plants don't need soil.
Every air plant is unique, so the plant you order may differ slightly from the air plant in the photo.
We pack your air plants with extra care so they arrive in perfect condition. Shipped with DPD including track & trace.
