Tillandsia melanocrater (large)
This spiky air plant is called: Melanocrater Tricolor. It measures about 15 cm and is an easy-care air plant. It has a lovely light color.
Nice to stand upright in a small vase, or to place next to a bowl with candles.
As the name suggests, air plants love air, but they also need some water now and then. Air plants get their nutrients from the air. With this plant, make sure no water stays trapped between the leaf bases, as this can cause rot.
Size: 15cm/20cm
Please note: when we took the photo they were red, but they can also be green. They turn red during the flowering period and then go back to green afterwards.
Mist your air plant 1-2x a week with rainwater or our plant food spray. Make sure it gets enough indirect sunlight and fresh air. Air plants don't need soil.
Every air plant is unique, so the plant you order may differ slightly from the air plant in the photo.
We pack your air plants with extra care so they arrive in perfect condition. Shipped with DPD including track & trace.
